Sirovasthi  is an ancient Ayurveda treatment that involves warm herbal oils being placed on the head for a specific period of time. The oil is held in place using a bandage tied around the patients head with an open top. Warm medicated oil is poured in this cap and kept for a particular period of time as instructed. This process is usually administered in hair fall, migraine, facial palsy, insomnia, spinal cord and cranial diseases etc.
