Sirodhara a traditional Ayurvedic method for healing and has been in use since ancient times to bring mind, body and soul to a harmonious level. This is one of the most purifying and rejuvenating treatment. This also helps to relieve the stress ,mental exhaustion and many other disorders. The term “Shirodhara” comes from Sanskrit ‘Shiro’ means head and ‘Dhara’ indicates pouring something on head. In this process a warm medicated oil, buttermilk or any other medicated liquid is poured in to forehead as a continuous stream  for a particular period of time from a specific height. This process can be done for relaxation and also as disease specific as advised by the physician. Shirodhara enhances the functions of central nervous system and treats diseases like anxiety, depression, mental fatigue, cervical spondylosis etc.
